The worship ministry at Cross Church exists to glorify God and lead God’s people in worshipping His name. Whether in a student worship service or a Sunday morning gathering, we believe that we have a God-given calling to sing praises to the Lord (Psalms 30:4) and declare the excellencies of Christ (1 Peter 2:9). Our desire in everything that we do is to glorify Christ, encourage the church, and declare the wonderful news that Jesus saves. Our prayer is that our worship ministry and our entire church would live out Colossians 3:16:
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
Cross Dance Ministry is a Christ-centered praise dance ministry under the umbrella of the Worship Ministry of Cross Church – Springdale. Cross Dance Ministry seeks to bring out the best in each girl while consistently pointing them to worship our Creator using their mind, body, and spirit. We encourage our girls to live their lives in a manner worthy of the cross of Jesus Christ! It is at the cross we find our worth, our beauty, our reason to DANCE! Enrollment for Cross Dance Ministry classes takes place in July each year.
