PHASE 1 | Online Services Only / May 17 and 24

We will stream online services only on May 17 and 24. We will be using this time to prepare adequately for Phase 2, reopening in the safest possible way. We want to encourage you to join us online for worship in the coming weeks at or on Facebook Live at 9:30 and 10:55 a.m.

PHASE 2 | Small groups are encouraged to begin gathering in outdoor venues while practicing social distancing / Begins Monday, May 18

Why outdoors? We believe the safest way to social distance at this time is in an outdoor venue, plus the weather is so beautiful this time of the year! Consider gathering in a park, someone’s backyard, or the church parking lot. We will not open the church for on-campus small groups until social distancing guidelines are relaxed. We encourage groups to continue using Zoom to supplement these in-person, outdoor gatherings.

PHASE 3 | Reopening campus worship services at all four campuses. Resume with limited capacity / Begins Sunday, May 31

We will have 2 services at all Cross Church Campus locations: 9:30 and 11:00 am.

We are committed to providing a safe, “touchless” experience for people coming back to church. Here are the top 5 things you need to know about attending Cross Church during this phase:

  1. Areas will be sanitized before, during, and after each service (bathrooms, door knobs, etc.).
  2. You will be guided to a seat in a way that allows for appropriate distancing (face masks encouraged).
  3. We will not be offering any preschool, children’s, student ministry, or on-campus small groups for the time being.
  4. Socializing is encouraged in parking lots only.
  5. We encourage those who are vulnerable, sick, or simply not comfortable coming back to continue to worship with us online at
Phase 4 | Full return to normal church services with all ministries resuming. / To Be Determined in Coming Weeks

This is the goal! We want to get to Phase 4 as quickly, wisely, and safely as possible. The date of this phase will be determined based upon future conditions related to COVID-19.

The Ramp to Reopening will be adjusted as needed based upon changing conditions. God has blessed Cross Church with a spiritual family of 7,000-8,000 people gathering each week across four campuses. Our primary goal is the health and safety of our church family as we seek to worship the Lord online and on campus. Thank you for loving, supporting, serving, and giving to Cross Church during this challenging season.
